Divvy Tenwow 1H2015

I still believe in Tenwow.

I wish to buy more at current depressed prices, but I am yet to open my HK securities account. Planning to fly to HK anytime now, but the rubbish ringgit has been on a freefall.

Revenue and profit have been improving well.

Anyway I have RM 40.50 credit for my 3 lots. I am sure a lot is lost from brokerage and whatever fees.

The declared divvy was HK 2.71 c /share, up form HKD 2.28 c a year ago. Payout was 30%.

Sold Coastal

I still believe in this stocks' good fundamentals.

However with such uncertain market outlook I am getting very nervous about owning too many shares. The poor divvy declared also points to a negative sentiment going forward.

So as the price has run up a little, i thought it might be a good idea to take profit. Especially so that the divvy ex-date has also passed.

Sold at 2.05 with a profit of 2000 after exactly one month. With the commission of 59.89 + 48.36 and divvy of 100, net profit was 1991.75.

Sweet.

'Mistake' Buy of GAB

As it had happened before, I tend to be very careful when queuing for the sale of any stock.  For instead of clicking 'sell' you could just be clicking 'buy' at a high price.

So i woke up this morning horrified to see that I had 'accidently' bought 2 lots of GAB at 12.90 when i had intended to sell them at 14.

While this could well be my mistake, what irked me was that the trading platform had been unstable in the last few days, resulting in Rejected orders and orders not appearing in the order status. It was probably amid this confusion that the mistake was made, unless the system itself made the mistake.

Of course the remisier upon realising this whatsapps me and I got worked up when she still tried to defend the system and blamed it on me. At least I handled myself well and not go overboard, realising that there was nothing anyone could now do, and that I could only pray this shit is not as deep.

And so now I have ended up with 4 lots of GAB at the average price of 13.2. At the time when market is tanking. I definitely want to accumulate GAB, but not be forced to buy at such a price!

Not sure why the commission was 149.06. Seems high

Bought COASTAL

Bloodbath on the market today.

I had been queuing  a large number of stocks at substantially low prices, and had to cancel some of them upon seeing how scary the market dropped.

One of my orders got through though, after dropping some 10.3%

Now I would need to admit that I broke one  of my fundamental principles in investing here, by buying a company with a business that I do not fully understand. However the metrics look too good to ignore:

PE 4.82
Quick ratio 1.19
Current ratio 3.51
Net Profit Margin 20.48
Net Profit Margin (5YR Ave) 22.38
ROE (5YR) 20.49
ROI (5YR) 201.6
ROA (5YR) 13
Div 3.9%

This really looks a good company that is being hammered by the current low oil prices. I need to do some reading now to further understand its business.

Got 5000 shares. Commision was 48.36

Added GENS

Not sure why but GENS fell to as low as 0.85 today. Since I have been queing at 0.88 for weeks now, 5 lots got filled.

Now my total holding for GENS in 10000 shares at 0.935.

Commission was 26.76

Buying and Selling CARLSBERG

I had been queuing for Carlsberg for quite a while now, and finally managed to get some orders filled 11.80. This is a stock I would want to keep a long time as a dividend play.

However of the 1000 queued only 800 got filled. This left it pretty much neither here nor there.

I queued for a couple of days after that to further add to it, and I also queued at a significantly higher price to sell just in case it jumped.

And today at T+3 it got sold at 12.60.

Made a small profit of 328.80.

Will look to buy this when it drops below 11.50.

Bought ISEC

Have been eyeing this counter since its debut on the Catalyst market back in Oct 2014 with the IPO price of 0.28. Its price debited at 0.35 and has been rising pretty much ever since.

The full year 2014 results was released on 25 Feb but the price has only started to weaken recently.

1. Revenue rose 26% to 22 mil
2. Profit dropped from 3.3 to 3.2 mil
3. Net profit dropped from 2.3 to 1.9 mil
4. Cash improved to 27.3 mil from 1.4 mil
5  Divvy proposed 0.11 (2.6% from buying price)
6. EPS dropped from 0.76c to 0.54c (PE 77?)
7. Total equities stood at 43,650 mil and total liabilities 4,420 mil (Debt/Equity ratio 10)
8. Net Asset Value rose to 0.10 from 0.05 (P/B 4.2).

Since this is a newly listed and small company, many of the figures may be rather skewed. For example the drop in net profit was mainly due to the IPO expenses amounting to 1.8 mil. Also the singaporean operations only started in Aug and Sept. The result was also not bad o feel considering the weakening ringgit since most of its operations are in Malaysia. Divvy ain't shabby either for a first time.

I like this company for its potential and opportunity for growth. Currently they have four centres:

1. Mid Valley
2. Burmah Road, Penang
3. Mount Novena Hospital
4.Lee Hung Ming Eye Center, Gleneagles Hospital Singapore

Their goal is to expand withing the Asia Pac region, so it seems luke the sky's the limit for them.

Commision for the stock was 26.70.

Bought GENS

The 4th Quarter report came put disappointing, like I had expected.

1. Revenue for the Q dipped 8% to $637.8 mil. However revenue for 2014 actually increased by 1%.
2. Profit for the Q dropped a whopping 30% to $118.9 mil. Profit for the whole of 2014 was down 10%
3. EPS for 2014 was 4.23c, down 12%

However:

1. Cashflow for 2014 increased by 16% to $955.6 mil.
2. Cash increased to $3.7 bil
3. Debt  down to $1.7 bil.

Despite the unexciting numbers in these difficult times, it seems that the company is getting stronger with its balance sheet and increase in revenue.

Loking at the fundamentals though, they seemed pretty mixed
1. PE at 22
2. PB 1.18
3. ROE at 5.35%
4. ROI at 5.58%
5. Net Profit Margin 22.19%
6.Quick Ratio 4.05
7. Dividend a paltry 1%

All in all though, this is an established company in a high entry requirement business that are expanding in new areas. Which is reason enough for me to buy. And i also just love Resorts World Sentosa!

Queud at 99c but the price tumbled down 7.5% after the result. Broker's fee was $27.
